Hi Geoffrey,
I am afraid I can’t leave the farm to transport the chicks, I would advice you to come and collect them from Nairobi or arrange with someone travelling from Nairobi to Mwanza to travel with them for you.
Kind regards

Just checking to see whether you are now able to sell fertilized Kuroiler eggs. I am interested in purchasing some.
Hi jane,
Am afraid we are not selling fertile eggs at the moment. We are experiencing a high demand of chicks therefore we are forced to hatch all our eggs. We have orders from counties and NGO that are running to over 300,000 chicks. check again with is in 3 months time.
Kind Regards

Hello, I have reviewed most of the information presented on your website, including your heroic efforts in responding to most inquiries presented by aspiring poultry farmers. You’re doing a good job, and I believe I have finally come to the right source.
You have indicated that you ‘currently do not sell Kuroiler eggs because of the increased hatching capacity you have recently acquired.’ However, this was way back in April, 10/04/ 2015 to be specific. My question is, is this still the case now, and if so when is it likely that you will begin again selling kuroiler eggs?
Secondly, I know you’ve responded to some fellows wanting to have supplies shipped to Dar and Mbeya; but these responses were not available to everyone. To be specific, I am based in Mwanza (Tanzania), just by the lake Victoria. At this point, I would like to purchase some 200 fertile kuroiler eggs for incubation. What would be the appropriate way of shipping those eggs to me. I presume the same approach would be applied in the case of chicks if I decided to go that way.
I will very much appreciate your response; and I intend to contact you by phone for some further information.
Regards,
Lwandiko.
Hi Lwandiko,
Thank you for the enquiry. I know we said a while back that we have increased our capacity resulting in halting the sale of Kuroiler fertile eggs. We used to have 2 x incubators with a capacity of 3520 each = 7040 eggs. We have now increased it to 3 x 19,200 = 57600 eggs. Therefore we are currently running at less than half our capacity. as i’ve said below we have a batch of parent stock that we are expecting to start laying in 2.5 months time. when they start laying we’ll be in a position to sell the eggs since we’ll have more than enough for ourselves.
As you mentioned above we have shipped to Dar, Arusha and Mbeya but we haven’t shipped in your location, Mwanza. Therefore I do not know how much or what means of transport are best for you, you might be able to help us by checking what buses travel from Nairobi to Mwanza and how frequent. it would be great if you could make friends with one of the drivers who can accept transporting the chicks for you (that’s what I have done with Dar and Arusha).
