Making your own feeds can reduce the cost of rearing your chicks by over 30%. Below is a chick mash formulae for KARI, Kuroiler and Kienyeji chicken feeds. If you can farm your own maize (corn) the cost will reduce even more.
We feed our chicks with Chick Mash till they turn 2 months old, then we switch to Growers mash till they start laying, then of course its layers all through.

      We have added the formulae for Chick Mash, growers mash and Layers Mash on our downloads page, click on the link below.
      The formulae are for a ton (1000kgs) of feeds. For 100kg just divide every item by 10.
